The City of Aransas Pass Water supplies water to about 8,088 residents living in the Aransas Pass area of San Patricio County, Texas. The Aransas Pass Water Department collects surface water from Lake Corpus Christi and Choke Canyon Reservoir, which flows through the Nueces River, and Lake Texana, which feeds from the Navidad River. The water is chemically treated, filtered, and disinfected to kill harmful contaminants, improve taste and odor, and prevent dental decay.
