The Benbrook Water Authority provides water for about 21,530 residents living in the Benbrook area. Established in 1857, the Benbrook Water Authority (BWA) obtains its drinking water from ground and surface water sources, the Lake Benbrook, the Paluxy and Trinity Aquifers and from the Clear Fork Trinity River.
