The Cash Special Utility District provides water for about 21,891 residents living in the Greenville area, Texas. Established in 1963, the Cash Special Utility District collects water from two water sources: (1) surface water from Lake Tawakoni and (2) treated surface water purchased from North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD), which takes their raw water from Lake Lavon.
