The City of Grapevine Water, under the City Department of Public Works - Water & Wastewater Utilities Division, provides water for about 47,851 residents living in the area of Grapevine, Texas. Established in 1907, the City of Grapevine Water is currently obtaining its supply from a blend of surface water sources: the Lake Grapevine and purchased water from the Trinity River Authority (TRA), which uses raw water pumped from the Cedar Creek Reservoir and Richland-Chambers Reservoir into Lake Arlington.
