The city of Pearsall Utilities is a public community water system under the Water and Wastewater Department that provides water to about 9,346 residents living in Pearsall, the county seat of Frio County, Texas. Founded in 1910, the City of Pearsall Utilities System currently obtains water from groundwater sources, primarily two wells that drill into the Carrizo-Wilcox Aquifer underneath the area. These wells are located in North Plant, Cherry Plant, Colorado Plant, and East Plant.
