The Combined Consumers Special Utility District provides water services to about 7,238 residents living in the Quinlan and Wills Point areas in Hunt, Kaufman, and Van Zandt Counties, Texas. The Combined Consumers SUD began serving the Counties in 2004 and supplies water from Lake Tawakoni, which is located south of Greenville and east of Quinlan and feeds from the Sabine River and area creeks. The water undergoes sedimentation, filtration, disinfection with chlorine to remove harmful contaminants, and fluoridation to promote strong teeth. The purified water is stored in the ground storage tanks and elevated towers and distributed to approximately 2669 active connections. The District has varied water bill payment options, including pay online, payment by mail, automatic bank draft, payment through financial institutions, and in-person payments.
