The Deer Park Water provides water for about 32,964 residents living in the Deer Park area, Texas. Established in 1893, Deer Park Water collects surface water supply from Trinity River via Lake Livingston. This water is purchased from the City of Houston through the Coastal Water Authority. Besides surface water, the City of Deer Park maintains three wells on standby that could be used on an emergency basis if the raw water supply should be interrupted for any reason. These wells draw water from the Gulf Coast Aquifer.

Lead Report (2020)

A

WaterZen Rating

Lead levels in the drinking water of some cities across the United States are too high, potentially creating public-health issues for the people living in those areas.

What about Deer Park Water? How much lead is in your drinking water? And how do those levels compare to other cities in the state? We examined data from hundreds of cities across the nation to understand and grade your water quality.

As you can see, Deer Park Water received the best-possible grade because the amounts of contaminants found in the water supply were better than the Public Health Goal and most other water providers we've analyzed.
