D & M Water Supply Corporation, a public community water system under the local government, provides water to about 6,570 residents living in Douglass, Nacogdoches County, Texas. Founded in 1960, D & M Water Supply Corporation System currently obtains its supply from the Wilcox-Carrizo Aquifer, where Alazan Well, Press Road Well, Press Road Remote Well, New Douglass Well, Eden Well, and Gravel Ridge Well drill water. Additionally, D & M Water Supply Corp. also purchases water from the City of Nacogdoches, which draws from two sources: a surface water source from Lake Nacogdoches and a groundwater source drilled into the Wilcox-Carrizo Aquifer underneath.
