Cypress has multiple water providers: Harris County Water and Faulkey Gully Mud. This page provides information about Faulkey Gully Mud.

The Faulkey Gully Municipal Utility District supplies water to about 7,971 residents living in the Houston area of Harris County, Texas. Founded in 1973, the Faulkey Gully MUD purchases treated water from the Central Harris County Regional Water Authority (RWA) through the North Harris County RWA. The surface water originates from the San Jacinto River within Lake Conroe and Lake Houston and is treated at the City of Houston Northeast Water Purification Plant. The District also receives a supplemental groundwater supply from three district wells that pump from the Evangeline Aquifer.
