The Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 25 is a political subdivision of the State of Texas authorized by the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to provide water, sewage, drainage, and other utility-related services for about 13,530 residents living in Sugar Land, a city just southwest of Houston, Texas. Established in 1837, the Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 25 System currently obtains its supply from groundwater sources and comes from the Chicot and Evangeline aquifers in Fort Bend County.
