Four Way Special Utility District is a local water services operating corporate entity under the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality that provides water to about 6,786 residents living in Huntington, Angelina County, Texas. Founded in 2007, the Four Way Special Utility District System currently obtains its supply from groundwater sources, primarily seven wells that drill into the Yegua and Carizzo Aquifers underneath Angelina County. The water system also includes four water plants (WP). WP #1 is equipped with a 230-gallon per minute (gpm) well, an 80 gpm well, three 425 gmp booster pumps, one 200,000-gallon elevated storage tank, one 40,000-gallon ground storage tank, and one 100,000-gallon ground storage tank. WP #2 is equipped with a 170 gpm well, two 300 gpm booster pumps, two 200,000-gallon elevated storage tanks, a 100,000-gallon ground storage tank, and ozone treatment equipment. WP #3 is equipped with a 750 gpm well, two 300 gpm pumps, an ozone treatment system, a 200,000-gallon ground storage tank, and a 400,000-gallon elevated storage tank. Additionally, WP#4 includes two 425 gpm pumps, a 60,000-gallon ground storage tank, 280 gpm wells, and a 320-gallon well.
