The Town of Granite Falls Water supplies water to about 7,318 residents in the City of Granite Falls, Caldwell County. Granite Falls Water collects water from Lake Rhodhiss, a surface water source with high susceptibility to contamination. The water is pumped to the Water Treatment Facility at 100 Lakeside Avenue for treatment. It is disinfected with chlorine to prevent microbial growth and contains fluoride, which promotes healthy teeth in drinking water.
