Established in 1949, the City of Haltom Water System is currently obtaining its supply via purchase from the City of Fort Worth whose supply sources are as follows: West Fork of Trinity River (Lake Worth, Eagle Mountain Lake, and Lake Bridgeport); East Texas (Cedar Creek Reservoir and Richland Chambers Reservoir); and Clear Fork of the Trinity River via Lake Benbrook.
