The Los Lunas Water Department, a public community water system under the Water/Sewer Division of the Local Public Works Department, provides water for about 18,289 residents living in Los Lunas, a village in Valencia County, New Mexico. Incorporated in 1928, the Los Lunas Water Department System currently obtains its groundwater supply pumped from the Santa Fe Group aquifer in the Albuquerque Basin by four wells located within the Village of Los Lunas.
