City of Truth or Consequences Water, a public community water system under the City's Water Division under the Department of Public Works, provides water to about 7,640 residents living in Truth or Consequences, formerly known as Hot Springs, in Sierra County, New Mexico. Founded in 1916, the City of Truth or Consequences Water System currently obtains water from groundwater sources, primarily four wells that drill into the aquifer underneath the southern well field along the solar field array on Cook Street near Armijo Park.
