Tribal Utility Authority-Santo Domingo Pueblo, a public community water system under the local government, provides water to about 5,455 residents in Kewa Pueblo, San Miguel County, New Mexico. Founded in 1600, the Tribal Utility Authority-Santo Domingo Pueblo collects water from groundwater drilled from the Rio Grande Alluvial Aquifer. In 2013, a second well was drilled, and in 2014, it was connected to the water supply. Both wells are located east of I-25, are around 1000 feet deep, and are connected to a single pumphouse for distribution and treatment.
