The City of Marshall Water provides water for about 22,409 residents living in the Marshall area, Texas. Established in 1841, the City of Marshall Water collects water from a surface water source, the Big Cypress Bayou. Additionally, the City of Marshall has entered into a contract with the Northeast Texas Municipal Water District to purchase up to 9,000 acre-feet of water per year from Lake O' the Pines.

Lead Report (2019)

B-

WaterZen Rating

Lead levels in the drinking water of some cities across the United States are too high, potentially creating public-health issues for the people living in those areas.

What about Marshall Water? How much lead is in your drinking water? And how do those levels compare to other cities in the state? We examined data from hundreds of cities across the nation to understand and grade your water quality.

As you can see, Marshall Water received an above-average grade because the amounts of contaminants found in the water supply were lower than most other water providers we've analyzed.
