The City of Southlake Water Utility Division, under the City Public Works Department, provides water for about 30,144 residents living in the Southlake area, Texas. Established in 1956, the City of Southlake Water Utility Division currently obtains its supply from the City of Fort Worth’s Water Department. Fort Worth obtains water from surface water sources: Lake Worth, Eagle Mountain Lake, Lake Bridgeport, Richland Chambers Reservoir, Cedar Creek Reservoir, and the Clear Fork Trinity River (from Lake Benbrook).
