The Edwardsville Water Corporation provides water services to about 10,442 residents living in the Georgetown area of Floyd County, Indiana. The nonprofit corporation was founded in 1963 to provide potable water for the neighborhoods and obtains its water from groundwater wells that tap the Sand and Gravel Aquifer adjacent to the Ohio River. The Edwardsville Water Corporation also purchases water from the Indiana-American Water Company, which sources water from wells in Clark County.
