The City of Anderson Water Department provides water for about 58,400 residents living in the area of Anderson, Indiana. Established in 1844, the City of Anderson Water Department is currently obtaining its supply from ground water sources, deep ground water supply wells that draw from the aquifer in the Indian Creek in Lafayee Township, and the White River and Killbuck Creek area.
