The City of Monticello Water, a public community water system under the City Waterworks Department, provides water to about 5,300 residents living in Monticello, Indiana. Founded in 1895, the City of Monticello Water System currently obtains its supply from groundwater sources, primarily three wells located near the Tippecanoe River.
