The Town of Glenville Water District No.11 provides water for about 15,000 people living in the Glenville area, Schenectady County, New York. Established in 1821, the Town of Glenville Water District collects water from the Great Flats Aquifer (Schenectady Aquifer) via four drilled wells around 50 feet deep. The water source is located at west of the Village of Scotia between New York State Route 5 and the Mohawk River.
