Canandaigua has multiple water providers: Canandaigua Water and Canandaigua Water. This page provides information about Canandaigua Water.

Canandaigua Town Consolidated Water District, a public community water system under the local government, provides water to about 6,607 residents living in Canandaigua, Ontario County, New York. Founded in 1815, the Canandaigua Town Consolidated Water District System currently purchases its supply from Canandaigua, a surface water source from Canandaigua Lake. The City of Canandaigua municipal line, or the point of connection with the City of Canandaigua's transmission main, is where the treated water enters the Town of Canandaigua Water Districts through meter vaults. Through a meter hole at the Canandaigua-East Bloomfield town boundary, the Town of Canandaigua Consolidated Water District transports treated water from the City of Canandaigua to the Town of East Bloomfield. Additionally, through a pump station situated on Goodale Road in the Hamlet of Cheshire, the Town of Canandaigua Consolidated Water District delivers treated water from the City of Canandaigua to the Bristol Water District Extension #1.
