The Franklin Square Water District provides water for about 20,000 residents living in the Franklin Square area, New York. Established in 1923, the Franklin Square Water District collects groundwater supply from five (5) wells located throughout our community that pump water out of the Magothy aquifer, which is located beneath the land surface of Long Island.
