Village of Hilton Water, a public community water system under the Department of Public Works, provides water to about 5,856 residents in Hilton, Monroe County, New York. Founded in 1885, the Village of Hilton Water System currently purchases its supply from Monroe County Water Authority (MCWA), a surface water source drawn from Lake Ontario, which is then treated at the Monroe County Water Authority Shoremont Treatment Plant before being sold to Hilton Village.
