The Ontario Water, a public community water system under the City Department of Public Works, provides water for about 14,465 residents living in the area of Ontario, the largest city in Malheur County, Oregon. Established in 1884, the City of Ontario Water System currently obtains its supply from a blend of sources, including surface water from the Snake River along with six shallow alluvial groundwater wells.

WaterZen Rating

Lead levels in the drinking water of some cities across the United States are too high, potentially creating public-health issues for the people living in those areas.

What about City Of Ontario Water? How much lead is in your drinking water? And how do those levels compare to other cities in the state? We examined data from hundreds of cities across the nation to understand and grade your water quality.

As you can see, City Of Ontario Water received the best-possible grade because the amounts of contaminants found in the water supply were better than the Public Health Goal and most other water providers we've analyzed.
