The City of Forest Grove Water, a public community water system under the City Department of Public Works, provides water for about 22,518 residents living in the area of Forest Grove, Oregon. Established in 1872, the City of Forest Grove Water System is currently obtaining its supply from surface water source: the Watercrest Road Water Treatment Plant which receives water from the watershed south of Gales Creek and the Joint Water Commission (JWC) Water Treatment Plant located south of Forest Grove. The JWC Plant receives water from the Barney and Scoggins Reservoirs through the Tualatin River system.
