Ice Fountain Water District, a public community water system under local governments, provides water to about 5,532 residents living in Hood River, Hood River County, Oregon. Founded in 1963, the Ice Fountain Water District System currently obtains its supply from Ice Fountain Spring, a groundwater source that drills into the aquifer underneath the area. Additionally, the system has Reed Road Transmission Line and York Hill Pump Stations, Binns Hill Reservoir, Upper York Hill Reservoir, Lower York Hill Reservoir, and two other reservoirs.
