Established in 1907, the City of Troutdale Water System currently obtains its supply from seven City-owned-and-operated groundwater wells that are drilled to various depths ranging between 485 and 697 feet pumped from two aquifers, known hydrologically as the Sand & Gravel Aquifer and Troutdale Sandstone Aquifer.
