The City of Aurora Water, a public community water system under the City Utilities Department, provides water to about 6,415 residents living in Aurora, Center Township, and Dearborn County, Indiana. Founded in 1953, the City of Aurora Water System currently obtains its supply from three drilled wells, groundwater sources that drill into the Ohio River Valley Aquifer underneath the area.
