The Danville Water Works supplies water to about 10,000 residents in the Danville area of Hendricks County, Indiana. Founded in 1892, Danville Water Department sources water from four wells tapping the sand and gravel aquifer located adjacent to West Fork White Lick Creek. The Department maintains a supplemental supply from Citizens Water, which provides surface water and groundwater. Surface water comes from the White River, Morse Reservoir, Fall Creek, Geist Reservoir, and Eagle Creek Reservoir, while the groundwater comes from wells at Geist Station, Harding Station, South Well Field, and the Ford Road Plant.
