Gonzales County Water Supply Corporation, a public community water system under the local government, provides water to about 8,781 residents living in Gonzales, Texas. Founded in 1971, the Gonzales County Water Supply Corporation System currently obtains its supply from blended sources: surface water supply from the City of Gonzales, drawn from the Guadalupe River located in Gonzales County, and groundwater sources, primarily wells that drill into the Carrizo Aquifer underneath the area. Additionally, there are five wells, namely: Saturn Well, Wrightsboro Well, Bebe Well, Oak Forest Well, and 304 Well.
