The Village of Larchmont Water supplies water to about 6,485 residents living in the Larchmont area of Westchester County. Larchmont Water Department has a connection at Shaft 22 of the Delaware Aqueduct in Yonkers to receive water through the Westchester Joint Water Works Larchmont Pump Station. The water comes from the Catskill and Delaware watersheds of the New York City water system and is fluoridated and chlorinated in the Kensico Reservoir. It also undergoes UV treatment, pH adjustment with caustic soda, and corrosion inhibition with poly-orthophosphate.
