(“AQN” or “Algonquin”), a global leader in renewable energy, provides water for about 13,400 residents living in the Village of Sea Cliff, Oyster Bay area of Nassau County, Long Island, New York. Established in 1988, the New York American Water - Sea Cliff System currently obtains its supply from groundwater sources, two wells namely: Magothy, a 310 feet deep well, and Lloyd, a 610 feet well, drill into the aquifers underneath the area.
