The North Lenoir Water Corporation (NLWC), a non-profit, member-owned potable water utility corporation, provides water for about 14,669 residents living in the area of Kinston, North Carolina, a city in Lenoir County. Established in 1969, North Lenoir Water Corporation System currently obtains its supply from a blend of sources including, surface water from Black Creek and Neuse River, and groundwater from 13 wells in the Upper Cape Fear Aquifer.
