The City of Rushville Water supplies water to about 6,800 residents living in the Rushville area of Rush County, Indiana. Founded in 1894, Rushville City Water Department collects water from five groundwater wells in two well fields, which produce water from a shallow sand and gravel aquifer. The South Well Field consists of three wells located next to the Flat-rock River, while the North Well Field includes two wells in Memorial Park. The water contains fluoride for strong teeth.
