Forney has multiple water providers: City Of Forney Water, Talty Water, High Point Water, and Providence Village Water, view all. This page provides information about Talty Water.

The Talty Special Utility District (SUD) supplies water to about 11,118 residents living in the Forney area of Kaufman County, Texas. Talty SUD purchases treated surface water from the City of Forney, which in turn purchases its water from the North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD). The NTMWD obtains the raw water from Lavon Lake, Lake Texoma, Jim Chapman Lake, and Lake Tawakoni and maintains supply with the East Fork Raw Water Supply Project.
