Marlin has multiple water providers: Marlin Water Department and Tri County Sud. This page provides information about Tri County Sud.

The Tri-County Special Utility District supplies water to about 5,353 residents in the Marlin area of Falls County, Texas. Tri-County SUD obtains water from the Travis Peak Formation of the Trinity Group and Hooper Formation aquifers. The groundwater is withdrawn from Northern wells in Falls County and Southern wells in Robertson County and is treated with chemicals approved by the National Safety Foundation.
