The Town of Williamson Water, a public community water system under the City Department of Public Works, provides water to about 6,600 residents living in Williamson, Wayne County, New York. Founded in 1802, the Town of Williamson Water System currently obtains its supply from the Williamson Water Treatment Facility (WTF), a surface water source drawn from Lake Ontario located in Pultneyville. Additionally, a backup source through in-ground connections from the towns of Ontario, WCWSA, and Sodus is available.
