Wilton Water & Sewer Authority (WWSA) is a public potable water and sanitary sewer systems authority that provides water to about 8,893 residents living in Wilton, Saratoga County, New York. Founded in 1991, the Water & Sewer Authority System currently obtains water from groundwater sources, primarily wells that drill into the aquifer underneath the area. Furthermore, WWSA has three wellfields. Mulberry Wellfield has 11 wells with depths ranging from 26 to 202 feet, a capacity of 26 to 93 gallons per minute, and a 6,000-gallon hydro tank. Fairway Wellfield, on the other hand, has nine wells with depths ranging from 70 to 75 feet and a capacity of 40 to 60 gallons per minute, as well as a 275,000-gallon in-ground concrete storage tank. O'Brien Wellfield has five wells and a 750,000-gallon tank. Additionally, WWSA has an interconnection with the main transmission line of the Saratoga County Water Authority, drawn from the Hudson River, and purchases 300,000 gallons per day. It also purchases from the City of Saratoga Springs water drawn from Loughberry Lake and Bog Meadow Brook.
