The North Lawrence Water Authority, a public potable water systems authority, provides water for about 13,300 residents living in the area of Bedford, Indiana. Established in 1965, the North Lawrence Water Authority’s Water System is currently obtaining its supply from a blend of sources: groundwater from five wells located in Spice Valley Township drawing from the Lower Floridan Aquifer; and pretreated purchased water from Bedford City Utilities.
