Scriba Water Department is a public community water system under the local government that provides water to about 9,044 residents living in Scriba, in Oswego County, New York. Founded in 1811, the Scriba Water Department System currently purchases its surface supply from the City of Oswego, obtained from Lake Ontario, which uses traditional filtration to purify the water. The town pumps the water into four (4) distribution systems' water storage tanks with a 1,844,000 million gallon total combined storage capacity.
