The City of Woodland Park Utilities provides water to about 8,500 residents living in the Woodland Park area of Teller County, Colorado. The Water Department of Woodland Park Utilities utilizes a blend of groundwater from local wells and imported surface water. The groundwater originates from thirteen wells in Loy Gulch and Golf course areas and a jointly owned well in Westwood Lakes, while the surface water comes from the Twin Lakes Reservoir near the Continental Divide. The water is treated and disinfected prior to distribution.
