Denver has multiple water providers: Denver Water, Cherry Creek Valley Water, Crestview Water, and North Washington Water, view all. This page provides information about Cherry Creek Valley Water.

The Cherry Creek Valley Water and Sanitation District, a public community water system, provides water for about 20,000 residents living in the area of Denver, Colorado. Established in 1961, the Cherry Creek Valley Water and Sanitation District System is currently obtaining its supply as purchased from Denver Water. Denver Water’s water sources are 100 percent surface water that originates from the South Platte River and its tributaries, the streams that feed Dillon Reservoir, and the creeks and canals above the Fraser River. Denver Water then stores its water in five mountain reservoirs — Antero, Eleven Mile Canyon, Cheesman, Dillon, and Gross.
