Castle Pines North Metropolitan District is a public community water system under the local government that provides water to about 9,800 residents living in Castle Pines, a home-rule municipality located in Douglas County, Colorado. Founded in 1984, Castle Pines North Metropolitan District System currently obtains its supply from mixed sources: groundwater sources, primarily wells that drill into the aquifer underneath the area; and surface water from Rampart South Platte Reservoir, Englewood City Ditch, Mclellan Reservoir, and purchased water from Wise, a consecutive connection.
