Town of Carbondale Water, a public community water system under the local government, provides water to about 6,700 residents living in Carbondale in Garfield County, Colorado. Founded in 1888, the Town of Carbondale Water System currently obtains its supply from blended sources: four wells, and groundwater sources that drill into the Aquifer underneath the area. Other sources are purchased from North and South Nettle Creek, a surface water source.
