Carrollton Utilities provides water services to about 6,851 residents living in the Carrollton area in Carroll County, Kentucky. Founded in 1955, Carrollton Utilities collects water from three groundwater wells located downtown Carrollton near the water treatment plant on sixth street. The wells draw from a deep aquifer, which is fluoridated and disinfected with chlorine to improve the quality before supplying the residents.
