The Grayson Utility Commission supplies water to about 10,950 people living in Carter and Greenup Counties, Kentucky. The Commission was founded in 1931 and currently obtains its raw surface water from the Little Sandy River in Carter County. The water is treated to remove harmful contaminants before supplying to the residents.
