Founded in 1820, the Princeton Water & Wastewater Commission System currently obtains its supply from the Cumberland River and Lake Barkley, a surface water supply. The water system has a 2.1 million-gallon storage capacity and three water tanks where water is distributed through an approximately 89-mile transmission network.
