The Town of Windsor Utilities, a public community water system under the Town Department of Public Works, provides water for about 21,000 residents living in the area of Windsor, Colorado. Established in 1890, the Town of Windsor Utilities Water System is currently supplied by three separate water providers: North Weld County Water District, the City of Greeley, and Fort Collins - Loveland Water District. These water districts obtain their supply from a blend of any of these surface water sources: Boyd Lake, Lake Loveland, Horseshoe Lake, Cache la Poudre River, and Colorado-Big Thompson.
